Our approach is to spend sufficient time within the client’s operation to fully understand their activities and identify the building type, the operational zones, heating, ventilation, lighting, cooling, utilities provision etc to match their needs and constraints and identify alternative solutions with any cost, time and physical limitations well defined.
We carry out analysis of metered utilities and other consumables with calculations to determine the most economically viable and sustainable course of action to achieve cost reduction within the client’s buildings and across the whole of business activity including sourcing materials, staffing, equipment and importantly, matching the occupancy parameters of time and temperature to minimise ‘whole life’ environmental and carbon impact which in turn, reduces operational costs.

PFS provide specialist consultancy to clients, on hard & soft services for new build and refurbishment projects within both the Public and Private sectors, with a particular emphasis on occupancy management and energy performance, through the utilisation of high efficiency plant, intelligent building systems and building fabric improvements.
SUSTAINABLE WORKING
All related energy costs of operating the business are considered such as staff travel, supplier proximity, business waste and equipment disposal to ensure maximum sustainability across all the client’s activities.
DRIVE DOWN RUNNING COSTS
Through carrying out whole building energy surveys and producing Energy Certificates/Advisory Reports PFS are able to provide targeted, visual operational ratings with recommendations so that ‘year on year’ performance can be quantified and improved.
